Affinity
Affinity is the manifold management platform at the core of the Agentic Web. It's where curators build, maintain, and control the curated collections of web content that power AI agent retrieval.
What's a Manifold?
A manifold is a curated collection of web properties assembled around a theme, interest, location, or purpose. Think of it as a focused, expert-curated slice of the web — with the noise removed and the trust built in.
A camping gear manifold might include OutdoorGearLab, REI's expert advice, and select independent blogs. A financial research manifold could gather peer-reviewed sources and trusted analyst feeds. Each manifold is fully isolated — queries only return results from within it.
What Affinity Does
Manifold Creation and Management
Create curated collections with names and descriptions. Add sites using flexible URL patterns — host plus POSIX regex matching — so you can include exactly the content you want and nothing more. Toggle manifolds and individual patterns active or inactive without losing your configuration.
Tag System
Create colour-coded tags within each manifold and assign them to URL patterns for fine-grained organisation. Filter by tags at query time using OR or AND logic. Tags sync automatically to the Edge-Search index.
OAuth 2.1 for AI Agent Access
Affinity includes a complete OAuth 2.1 implementation with PKCE support. Issue per-client manifold grants so you control exactly which agents can access which collections. Granular scopes cover search, content, gateway, indexing, and admin operations.
Indexing Control
Trigger on-demand indexing for entire manifolds or individual sites. Set cron-based schedules for automatic re-indexing — daily at 2am, or whatever suits your content's freshness requirements. Track indexing job status and site-level statistics: pages indexed, failure rates, last index time.
Team and Account Management
Multi-user accounts with Owner, Admin, and Member roles. Invite team members, manage permissions, and maintain a full audit log of every change — who did what, when, from which IP.
Dashboard
A modern Next.js 15 + React 19 frontend with dark mode support. View aggregate statistics, manage patterns with search and tag filtering, and track changes through an activity timeline.
Who It's For
Affinity is built for content curators and domain experts who want their knowledge to be reliably discoverable by AI agents — and for platform operators who need multi-tenant, auditable control over what gets indexed and who gets access to it.
