Why SEO is No Longer Enough!

Your customers are using ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Grok and host of other Agentic Web agents to make decisions about your products and services.

These AI agents don't work the way a human does. First, they rewrite your request. Then they collect dozens of search pages and re-rank the results to suit the current task.

Just getting to your site can be a challenge for many AI agents. Before re-ranking, they may visit your page to gauge its accessibility and navigability to compare these with your competitors.

Even if an AI agent decides to use your content, your site may present barriers - both digital blocks and semantic hurdles - that make that use difficult.

Each of these factors contribute to making your content more or less retrievable for AI agents - and that retrievability matters more than being on search Page One.
